Exception while trying to figure out whether a certain process has loaded a module

description

Is the below normal behavior? (I'm trying (without success) to debug silverlight 5 in Firefox 22.0)

Silverlight Debug Helper [2013-07-03T21:37:30.3446066+01:00]: *** Exception while trying to figure out whether a certain process has loaded a module: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): A 32 bit processes cannot access modules of a 64 bit process.

Hi,

apparently you are using a 64-bit version of Firefox, which makes it impossible to query the process for the loaded modules (this is a basic check to see which browser process has loaded the Silverlight assemblies). Make sure you are testing with the 32-bit versions of browsers.

Peter

Hi Peter
first of all thanks for taking the time to write the add-on and then to come back as above.

As far as Im aware, Im using 32 bit versions of both IE and FF, and task manager is confirming that ("firefox.exe *32")

Maybe the above error is a red-herring but I have been unable to debug in FF recently, possibly since upgrading to FF 22. (It was only then that I looked through the Output window contents and found the above error, so maybe it was there all along.)

Any other ideas very much appreciated.
(just fyi, Im running Windows 7 ultimate x64).
thanks again
